Explanation of absence

I am so sorry that I have no let everyone know what has happened and why I stopped posting.  My computer, my Mac that I love so much, has died.  The hard drive crashed and I lost everything.  So, I have no hard copies/files of any of my photos.  I also got a job where I'm on my feet a lot and have been working sometimes 6 days a week.  I guess I'm saying that life happened.  And I gave up.  I have all of these projects that I don't start because I want them to be perfect.  So I don't try to start something that won't be perfect.  So, I need to start again and try to be flexible.  The plan is to hopefully do a photo a week, instead of a day, in order to finish this project.

River Market at night.  Was feeling under the weather tonight, so this is one pic that I loved but didn't make the cut.  It's nice that I can share it with everyone now though.

Ok, so this is probably and hopefully the last snow we will have.  I have to post a fun photo!  The pic on the left is the snowman Seth made and the pic on the right is Seth destroying his creation!  I had a really fast shutter speed of 1/4000 and I love how you can see each little piece of snow spraying around.  This photo was taken on the 21st, but is only being posted now because of internet difficulties.  My apologies!

I'm noticing a trend in my photos.  I tend to be a night person.  I guess I just love the shadows and the interplay between light and dark.  That's one of the reasons I'm loving this project.

This is a picture of a store front display of Urban Dwellings on Delaware St.  I like how the word "dwell" contrasts with the chair.  Didn't see that connection until I started shooting.  Started shooting because I loved the colors of the chair.

Here's a humorous photo!  This is my one of my interpretations of winter.  An old banana in a planter with snow and dried grass.  It's been so cold and snowy and windy for so long.  I hope I can look back at these photos when it's 100+ degrees out this summer and remember how cold I was.
